The Moon will fill our skies tonight. To take advantage of the view and prepare for upcoming International Observe the Moon Night, our presentation will sample Moon Music as our audience names that moon tune.

7:15 PM Observatories Open / Telescope Set-up, Observing through evening weather permitting

7:30 PM Indoor Presentation / Welcome, Rock Snake Community Art Project

7:40 PM Indoor Presentation / Luna, A celebration- Lori Weidner Prepare for International Observe the Moon Night, Name that Moon Tune

9:00 PM Outdoor Presentation / Perseid Meteor Shower- Ted Williams Bring your binoculars as we will guide you to sights across the night sky.

10:00 PM Visitor Center closes

10:30 PM Event Ends
